Description A Mid-Century oyster or seafood plate, made by Orfinox, circa 1960s. A mustard yellow ground with six oyster shell shaped wells for holding the oyster, clam, or mussel meat, with a lemon shaped well in the center. The wells are separated by a raised pattern of sea weeds, glazed in green. The plate has a free-from rim and a raised footing on the verso. The style is typical of the modern faience produced in France between 1950-1970. 9.5 in. Diameter x .75 in. H Marked: Orfinox Excellent vintage condition.
